I can’t tell you how much I love my new house. You made everything so smooth and easy that it was a very pleasant experience. Everyone has been wonderful. Thank you to Donna for your great ideas and for all of the things that I never thought of (and am very glad you did), to Jim for the excellent quality and perfect implementation, and to Gary for keeping everything progressing smoothly and keeping on top of things right down to the smallest details. I appreciate your keeping me informed throughout the entire process and returning my phone calls right away.

I also appreciate all of your help in selling my previous home so I could move in directly from the old house into the new one. This was the nicest move I’ve ever had.

If I build another house in the future, you will definitely be my builder again.

Just a note of thanks and appreciation for all that you did to make our home building experience positive and memorable. We especially appreciated your flexibility in allowing us to be actively involved in the building process. It gave us the ability to add our own personal touches, not just with materials but with actual design. We especially enjoyed working with Schwieter Architect and Design, Alpine Cabinetry, Cap Carpeting, Rockstad Framing, and Scott (the trimwork carpenter). These were contractors that we felt were especially customer service focused and detail orientated; which in turn this gave us a home that we are especially proud of.

Homes By James helped us build a home that we love. We are continuously receiving compliments about the home's unique design and custom quality.

We wanted to write a letter to let both of you know how much we love our house. We have been in our house now for a little over a year and to this day, we still have friends and family that walk in and go ‘WOW", “This is a beautiful house”, “Look at the details”. It’s fantastic to hear such great compliments. And when they ask who our builder was, we proudly say “Homes by James.”

We have had the pleasure of working with Homes by James on buying two houses. Our first house we built from scratch. Our second house was a former Spring 2003 parade model with an unfinished lower level. Linda found this house while I was on a business trip and the wheels began to turn. You did an awesome job of finishing the lower level and then used the house for the 2003 Fall parade. A side note: Linda now must travel with me on my business trips!

We also had the experience of selling two houses with Norcrest Realty. Selling a home and building a home can get to be quite stressful, but thanks to both of you and also to Jody from Norcrest Realty, we overcame some rocky times.

Working with both of you and your staff (Terry, Gary, and Lency) was not only comfortable but also was rewarding. You both listened to our concerns, and if you didn’t know the answer during our meetings, you would always figure out what it was and one of you would call and talk to us. You never passed us on to someone else. That is what we would call “Caring about each and every client”. That personal attention goes a long way.

Donna, “THANK YOU” for all your wonderful advice on color coordination and wonderful, wonderful decorating tips. The time that you spent with me and then of course not knowing what to do, you really taught me so much about choosing the right items and having fun with it. I thank you so much.

We’ve told you this many times and we’ve told your staff also; next time we build, we will be building with Homes by James, again.

Homes by James was very cooperative with our wish list, right from the design stage to closure. The planning process and design service was very thorough and detailed. Warranty issues were dealt with immediately, or as soon as notified.
